Why us? What makes us special? With the competition for beauty products being fierce, why should you buy Pixie Dust Bath Company? Time and time again, we are receiving feedback that our products are so, so luxurious and amazing! And trust me, they are! I began Pixie Dust to make luxurious products at a more affordable price. I am a budget girl myself. I always have been. I have a favorite place to visit that has the most amazing shop. But holy cow! I cannot pay $40 for a bottle of lotion. I had a random conversation with my husband on the way home from one of those visits-----I would love to have a store that offered amazing products that most could afford. I created that company, y'all! It's been so many years in the making. And I am proud of it. So incredibly proud. It has not been easy. I have wanted to throw in the towel. I've cried. I've had sleepless nights. I dream about products. And through it all, my husband reminds me that I am no quitter.
My day job is a school counselor. I have always enjoyed and thrived on helping others. I've been a school counselor for 25 years. I have worked elementary, middle, and high school. I have wanted to own my own business for the last 20 years of my life. My husband is my biggest supporter. I am the one who is frightened to take the plunge. He runs straight into danger. He enouraged me to believe in this business and to take a risk. We have two girls that are teenagers now. I was never a "girly, girl". I loved to play ball (softball and volleyball), sweat, get dirty, chop Barbie's hair off (I may have buried a Barbie or two). My most favorite Christmas present was when I was in the 7th grade. Under the tree was a brand new Easton bat and Rawlings glove. Softball and sports were my life. Fast forward many years.......
I had two daughters who loved everything Tinkerbell, Rapunzel, Sophia the First, Princess of Avalon....the list goes on and on. We had chickens we named after Tinkerbell characters. Our car had DVD's all off kinds of movies (Pirate Fairy is still my most favorite) that were watched over and over and over. We had themed birthday cakes. We were Disney aficionados.
So why not take something my girls loved so much and make it our company name? And that's just what we did. There's the back story to our company's name. And we started out of a desire to bring more luxurious products (seriously, so much better than the big name competitor) at an affordable price.Check out our ingredients! We use incredibly nourishing and skin loving ingredients to give you the skin you deserve. We hope you give us a chance. We really do have great products. We truly want you to have access to great products that do not break the bank. As with any business, we are evolving. Along this journey (we began in Febraury 2023), we have changed our product line a few times. We've taken some items out and added other items in.
